Climate Change - Workshop...

Description

Pupils investigate the consequences of temperature rises around the globe as forecast by the Met office in the next fifty years. Be it sea level rise, drought, or increased incidence of forest fires, pupils will discover how different locations around the world may be affected. Using a combination of discussion and animation, pupils learn about the enhanced green house effect.  Younger pupils conclude by investigating how they can conserve energy around the house.  Older pupils finish the workshop by exploring the many weird and wonderful ideas proposed by scientists from around the world to combat these changes in a quiz game 'Science or Fiction'.
