Builid a Monster

Introduction to genetics and DNA by looking at animals and then fictional monsters. Involves the kids building a monster with 5 genes through dressing up and looking at examples of 'dominant' and 'recessive' genes. Finishing with a section of moral implications of genetics with examples of scenarios where knowledge of a person's genes could either be useful or potentially dangerous. The workshops involves voting pads which the kids use throughout.
