Description

A simple introduction to earthquakes, volcanoes, and mountains begins this workshop. How these features are formed by the movement of tectonic plates is introduced with high quality animations and smartboard technology. The workshop then moves to an interactive activity named 'Pet Rocks' where the pupils work in groups to produce a missing poster for their own pet rock.
