Description

An introduction to volcanism and plate tectonics using high quality imagery and animations. The class will learn about plate tectonics and the different landforms or events that can occur along plate margins depending on the direction of plate movement. Pupils will get the opportunity to hold rock samples in a game called 'Rock eBay' in which pupils will buy and sell different rocks associated with volcanism. This introduces some basic geology.
