Tim Peake at Dynamic Earth

We are over the moon to announce that on the 17th October, our most famous British astronaut, the one and only Tim Peake will be coming to Dynamic Earth!

Tim returned to Earth earlier this year, having spent 6 months living and working on the International Space Station as a European Space Agency astronaut. He spent 6 years preparing for this mission, and even ran a marathon in space - and now, you can come and hear first-hand all about his adventures, and what it takes to be an astronaut.  Tim will give a short presentation in our Biosphere Suite, followed by a Question & Answer session, where you can ask him anything you like about his time in space!  During his hour-long visit to Dynamic Earth, you will be able to find out all about Tim’s intensive astronaut training, his courageous journey into orbit, and all about day-to-day life on the International Space Station – what do astronauts eat and how do they go to the toilet?!  You could even get some advice on becoming an astronaut yourself!  There are 300 tickets available for this event, at a cost of £5 each.  Following this ticketed event, Tim will meet with visitors in the top deck area of the attraction.  This will be an out of this world experience, and Tim’s visit is bound to captivate and inspire both children and adults alike. So book your tickets as soon as possible if you don’t want to miss out!!

Tim’s presentation forms part of our fantastic October programme of activities Throughout this month, and during the school holidays, Dynamic Earth is hosting an array of exciting educational events and hands-on activities for families to enjoy – check out our What’s On guide to get the low-down on all the fun things we have happening. The October activities will run until the 23rd, and all except the event with Tim Peake, are free of charge with admission to Dynamic Earth.

And in celebration of this unmissable month, we are also offering an amazing October ticket deal, where visitors can opt to upgrade to an Annual Explorer pass for the same price as their day ticket. This unbeatable offer gives you year-round access to the attraction, so you can visit as many times as you like! Now that’s what I call value for money.  Terms and conditions apply – please click here for more details.

We hope to see you soon for some ‘out of this world’ fun!

If you buy a ticket for the Tim Peak event, do you also have to buy an admission ticket?
