Curriculum Support

As a charitable trust, we are able to provide a fully integrated, curriculum-linked education service which aligns closely to the requirements of schools and practitioners, engaging, enriching and challenging pupils with topical, refreshing and investigative science and technology based activities.

Actively engaging young children and pupils from 3 to 18 years, widening opportunity through personal discovery, investigation and discovery, we offer over 20 school workshops, an outdoor programme and supported learning for practitioners delivered by a team of highly qualified science communication professionals in a bespoke setting.

Choose from a combination of Tour, Workshop and ShowDome to create your own bespoke visit from as little as £4.00 per pupil and because we value the time and effort you have to put into organising an educational visit we hope you’ll take advantage of the free tea/coffee voucher for all teachers or even the 10% discount in the shop and café.

Use the links at the side to direct you to our in-house workshops, teacher CPD programme, supported outdoor learning activities and outreach. Do check out our subsidies section too in case we can help with the cost of the centre visit through our transport subsidy (Scotland only). From time to time we trial new activities and these are free to the participating school; we also have special fully funded events taking place too so this section is well worth keeping an eye on.

And don’t worry if you are still unsure whether a visit is for you and your pupils, all teachers are entitled to a free familiarisation visit to Dynamic Earth allowing you the opportunity to experience the center for yourself (without your pupils!).

To book simply contact in advance with your preferred date, time and school name.

Curriculum for Excellence

Dynamic Earth's HMIe inspected education program compliments the Curriculum for Excellence with relevant, challenging and enjoyable learning in the new dynamically designed and simulating environment of our Discovery Base.

Actively engaging young children and pupils with opportunities for both intra and interdisciplinary learning you can choose from immersive storytelling, investigative workshops, topical group debates or inspirational lectures covering social studies, the sciences, technology and expressive arts.
