We have split the Dynamic Earth experience into three separate offerings to ensure that you are able to make the most of your visit. If time is an issue you can pick'n'mix to decide which activity is most important to you.

Our Dynamic Earth Tour    90 minutes

Your pupils will travel back in time 15,000 million years and will depart on a journey of discovery. They will feel the Earth move beneath their feet as they encounter erupting volcanoes, see the Earth's deepest oceans, experience the chill of Polar ice before embarking on 4DVENTURE, an epic 4D journey of contrasts. Through stereoscopic 3D film and 4D special effects, 4DVENTURE fly your pupils from an Arctic research base to deep within the Tropical Rainforest. Along the way your pupils will discover the conifers of the Boreal Forest, meet a shark head on and even come face to face with a Rhino.

Discovery Workshops        60 minutes

Dynamic Earth has a dedicated education service which is HMIe inspected, designed with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence at its core. Our programme is delivered by a team of highly qualified science communication professionals.

Our discovery workshops cover a range of topics from climate change to genetics and extinction to evolution. Our new inspiring classroom suite allows workshops to be delivered with the latest smart board and interactive technology.

We Are Astronomers a 360º Dome Film     30 minutes

Immerse your pupils in a world of exotic galaxies and endless possibilities charting changes and challenges in stargazing since time began. Be part of an astounding journey through the spectacular story of astronomy.
