Getting to Dynamic Earth is easy. Below we have listed a variety of transport options to ease you in planning your visit.
Cycling and Walking
Located at the bottom of Holyrood Road, neighbouring the Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyrood House, Dynamic Earth is an approximate 15 minute walk from the city centre (Princes Street).

Local Bus Routes:
Within Edinburgh, take the local Lothian Buses No. 35 & 6 or hop aboard any Edinburgh City sightseeing bus tour.

Dynamic Earth has its own 24 hour car park located underneath the building, for which charges do apply:
- £3 for the first 3 hours
- £6 for non Dynamic Earth Visitors
- Then £1.50 for every hour and part hour thereafter.
Dynamic Earth is 8 miles from Edinburgh Airport. Follow the A8 into the city centre and follow signs for Dynamic Earth.
Car charging points
Dynamic Earth has its own electric car charge point for public use. Electricity is free. Standard car park charges do apply.
