Dome NIghts @ Dynamic Earth!

August is fast approaching and we are so looking forward to the buzz and excitement that the Edinburgh Festival Fringe will bring!  Part of the fun is planning which shows to go and see – and this year, Dynamic Earth are bringing you the biggest and best choice yet at our Dome Nights evening events.

Taking place in Edinburgh's only 360 degree planetarium cinema, you will feel totally immersed in the music as you are surrounded by breath-taking visual art. Images of the moon and space, cosmic graphic shapes and mystical mandala are weaved together to create a range of unique experiences that have transfixed audiences from all over the world. It’s a sensation you will never forget!

Choose your soundtrack - then sit back, relax and prepare for the musical journey of a lifetime…

DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - INSPIRED BY THE MUSIC OF PINK FLOYD

This stunning musical extravaganza is inspired by the legendary 1973 Pink Floyd album - fans will be familiar with the epic, conceptual soundtrack, and this, paired with stunning visuals will make for a mind-blowing sensory experience. The full-length iconic album will be played in spectacular surround-sound to create an unmissable experience for Floyd fans both old and new.

PLANETS 360

The classic version of this show is driven by a 132-piece orchestral recording of the original suite by composer Gustav Holst. This awe-inspiring composition is paired with beautiful visuals of our solar system and features the latest images of outer space that have been captured by our robotic explorers

.

WISH YOU WERE HERE - INSPIRED BY THE MUSIC OF PINK FLOYD

Lose yourself in another of Pink Floyd's classic and legendary albums - “Wish You Were Here”. Fans can experience the acclaimed rock album in a whole new way, through mesmerising, mind-bending HD graphics in this full-dome music and light show.

SONIC VISION

Originally created by the American Museum of Natural History in collaboration with MTV2 Video Jockeys and a team of 19 digital animators, Sonic Vision’s high-energy soundtrack features music from the likes of Muse, Fatboy Slim, Foo Fighters, Madonna and more. The pulsating playlist matches perfectly to the vivid, psychedelic digital art that accompanies it!

Dome Nights are running every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in August – check out our Fringe Dome Nights page of our website for available times! To book your tickets online, just select the show your wish to see and you’ll automatically be directed to our booking page. You can also book via the Fringe Official website. Our pop-up Fringe Bar will be open throughout each evening for refreshments, and the age guideline is 14+ as these are evening Fringe events.

Make sure to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment - Dome Nights promises to take you on a musical journey that is both spell-binding and mesmerizing!
