Journey into the Rainforest

Pupils will discover the amazing diversity of life in the tropical Rainforests via engaging imagery and interactive activities, including a game looking at some fascinating preserved specimens of tropical creepy-crawlies!  They will explore the threats faced by Rainforest environments and creatures, encompassing a range of topics such as spread of diseases and conflict, and link them to the overarching issue of deforestation.  The workshop finishes with a Dynamic Earth online shopping activity which highlights how our consumer choices are affecting Rainforests globally.
