Travel from the very centre of our planet, discover the shifting plates and get blasted out a volcano! During this workshop pupils will build up an integrated picture of the earth’s structure using exciting hand specimens and link this to volcanoes and earthquakes. They will discover the diversity of volcanoes on the planet and finish with a team game investigating the properties of their real volcanic ‘Pet Rock’.
