Family Science Showcase: Air Pollution and You
Family Science Showcase: Air Pollution and You Daily from Thursday, 18 October 2018 until Friday, 19 October 2018 10:00 AM

Join us to learn more about pollution in our air and what it means for your health. Talk to scientists who study what is in the air today. Get hands on and have a go at measuring air quality, see how we forecast air quality or catching air pollutants and explore how much cleaner our air is now compared to the past.

Do you have lots of puff? Take a deep breath and find out. Our scientists will help you measure how your lungs are working and add your own personal lung function measure to our graph. See how your lung function compares with people older and younger than you and find out about things that can affect your breathing.

This activity is part of Operation Earth and in conjunction with the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research.
